making a link in a post

I can do it on my site, but not here... HELP

Normally, you would specify the file using the "URL" tag. Like so:

Thanks... I'm not sure about the file type thing... this is the link location I use on my site to download the pdf file from the host...

You need a file to download. Your link has just a directory path.

Doh! It's not a space in the file name, but an accidental one.

Go back up to the post I made above and cut/paste the "[url" line. It should work for you.
