Ive tried it a hundred different ways :dunnoI think the only thing thats not optional and therefore has to be set by you is the first one: "your background is..."
Just pick one of the 3 options and it should work.

Tried that also..many times:dunno
just went back & tried it again to no avail...That's strange. Do you have any other code in the other fields? I just tried the same headline like you did and it worked like a charm.
Didn't you have a pro account? I've got a power one. But I can't think of why this could be a problem. Hmm :dunno
Clueless greetings,
Sebastian

Maybe its something with a setting in my computer /Xp :dunno Hmm, I don't think so, but nevertheless could be. What browser are you using?
Another thing you could try: be sure to always select one of the 3 options in "your background is". Now enter some text in the page title field (e.g. Gus' picture page). Don't enter anything else in the other fields. Now click the 'update cobrand' button.
Does this work for you?
If it doesn't I would consider mailing help@smugmug.com describing your problem (point to this thread). Maybe they can have got an idea. I'm sure it's just a little thing to fix it.

running IE.. Xp...i really cant see what im doing wrong :scratchOkay. Let's try this: close all IE-windows, open a new empty window; then clear the cookies and temporary internet files.
Now restart the computer. This seems unnecessary, but tends to help solve unsolvable problems when I have no more clue. :dunno

SebastianThanks for your time anyway RF...yep im good at blundering about...i have been on a computer doing this for 5 years & know all the quirky 'quick fixes' etc but just dont understand anything about programming at all (although i know that this bit that SM wrote should just cut & paste fine).
Thanks again
