First for 09

Here are my first attempts for 2009. I had been away out west shooting birds.
Well it is my second attempt actually, the first go I had at it a couple of days ago, i left my flash lead home. doh!

Today I stripped the thread on the nut holding the external flash on. doh again. So I used the onboard flash. I hope you dont get blinded! :huh

1. A sunflower from the other day, salvaged.

5. termite nest in a paperbark tree. just about split the tree in half!

There were lots of earthy colours today. I guess all the flowers are dying coz its the end of summer coming. ??
