Super shots Michiel (or can we still call ya Mick?). I loved the captions that went along with your shots :thumb :thumb Man, Sid sure is flexible for a man of his advanced years :lol3 If I ever got into that position he's in shooting those tourists, I'd have to call AAA to tow me to the nearest hospital's traction unit :lol :lol

Sid,
Your shots of Mick and Nik are also real nice :clap Love the BG too :thumb :thumb
So did ya shoot these in LA?......lol Love the view from the Ft Point area :D

Mik great shot especially loved how you followed the rule of thirds and got Sid's arse right in the lower right hand corner when he was taking the asian family picture.

Sid those two pics of Mik and Nik are great why are you still holding out on us?

:wxwax I'll post some tomorrow. Been processing and reprocessing, still hate most of 'em. But it's good you're forcing me to post some. Otherwise I'd let them wither and die in a dark folder on my M drive. :lol3

mick,

the "sid-squat" shot is classic - shows the gumbi-ness of waximondo quite well, and his generosity - shooting a shot for some tourists :D

nice series - really nice

sid - love the shot of mick at the ggb!

Thx 4 pix!

Just for the record:
Actually, it's an exact replica of soviet army military hat which was used in hot asian regions (Afganistan being an example) made out of the old jeans (my wifie and I used to sew a lot of gear ourselves, and she still does), so it's not technically western:-)

Cheers!:1drink

Sid has to have long legs to do his elegant squat. To get down there, I have to be on one knee. I am now able, with concentration, to get up, with my backpack full and on my back.

No wt loss either, just practice and determination.

Sure wish I had those legs.

Sid just doesn't look the same as his avatar. I don't think that is really him from the front. Sid, why don't you try pasting your avatar on your body. With PS, it shouldn't be that difficult.

Sid, can you explain for the class the finer points of this technique, and also tell us why the heck you didn't just take one step to the right and sit down? :rofl

It hurts my knees, mate, to bend down. I find it much easier to take the strain on my thighs.
