Sorry, the last post wouldn't let me add another photo, so I started a new thread.

It looks good, and I am really drawn to her eyes.

Her hair though, the farther away from her face it gets, the more it blends in with the background, almost making it seem like they are one in the same. Anyway to get them separated a bit?

She looks kind of leaning back with her head at an unnatural angle...something's just not right:dunno

DEFINITELY prefer this in colour to BW - the separation from bg and subject is improved. :thumb

That said, I'd still like to see that bg taking less visual attention. Can you blur it? Desaturate it? Any other PS wizardry to take it down even further? :dunno

It may not be possible, but just brainstorming. I think this is a much better version than the previous one!

ETA: how does this look in portrait orientation rather than landscape? Just wondering... that would certainly reduce the real estate the bg is consuming..... :scratch

Still not getting the facial expression. Is that the only face she gave you? Do you have others to see? I also don't think her head tilt is good because of the way her eyes are angled towards the camera especially the far one. Again...I don't think this particular shot is going to catch an agents eye.

Thanks for the feedback. Here is the other image with a vertical crop.

I took some other shots, but this is the one she liked the best (her and her mom). The shot was for a high school pageant she is in.

OK, I flipped through her images and here is a decent one (IMO) with a little different expression. Most of her shots she kept her mouth closed because she hates her teeth and she was into the pouty look.

I'm liking the 1st image much better with the vertical cropping. Thanks for the suggestion.

I think it's just the angle that you shot her. Something does seem a little off, your framing (composition) might be something to look at as well.
