View Full Version : Move Order and View Cart buttons

I'm sure this has been discussed before but I can't find it. Is it possible to move the "Order" and "View Cart" buttons onto the same line as the "Share" and "Slideshow" buttons?

I have a suspicion they are on their own line because with ALL the buttons showing at once things could get very crowded. However, my visitors only see two buttons on the top line and there is plenty of space to fit the Order and Cart buttons on the same line. I actually don't care if everything looks messy when I log in -- I can deal with that. I'm more concerned about what my visitors see.

Any thoughts?

You have some beautiful images and you've been some beautiful places!

It would take some custom javascript to remove them from their current location and insert them on the line above. On an 800 pixel wide window (which isn't that unusual for laptops), there's just no way your four buttons would fit when you have a long breadcrumb like here:

John,

Thanks for the feedback and the comments on my photos!

During the past couple of years I have started to use 1024x768 pixels as my baseline for design since most laptops started to have that as a minimum spec. It's a good point, though, especially in light of all these tiny new 'netbooks' which are showing up all over the place.

Fortunately, it's not a show stopper. I'm just not crazy about how those four buttons appear visually on the page.

Interestingly, SmugMug does have a way of dealing with breadcrumbs that run into the buttons -- they wrap. I resized my browser to 800 pixels wide while logged in with five buttons across. It's not pretty, but it works.

Thanks,
Dale
