Experimenting with new sb-900 flash on the flying turkey location. Need to fine tune a littlte to much flash, did not have as many birds tonight to make adjustments to flash once they started flying.

These are really quite wonderful. I especially love the last one. :thumb:thumb Having spooked large coveys of wild turkeys on the ground many times, I know well the absolute chaos involved when they all take flight at once. That you were able to keep your composure and capture some during this is quite admirable.

Thanks, I should included the one of just feet and tail that filled the frame he came too close. I think if I tone down the flash a bit and increase shutterspeed it would be and improvement

I've never had much success using fill flash with birds .. always way too hot or no fill at all. You did pretty darn well here, they still look good even with them being a bit hot.
