I cleaned my sensor on my D70 and now there's dirt on the focusing screen! :huh It doesn't mess up the images but it's distracting, Any advice on cleaning it? It seems to have grooves which hold on to the dust quite tenaciously. :scratch
Is it plastic or glass? Will using the swabs with the cleaning fluid melt it?

I assuming your talking about the view finder eye piece ( not sure of the correct term). On my 300d I had the same problem. For me I just took of the rubber gasket you put your eye up to and took the blower brush and gave it a few quick blows and the dirt was gone. Hope this helps:dunno
