As I was entering the Viera Wetlands Saturday 1/10/2009 I noted a number of cars parked under an old tree trunk with a Eagle on it. I proceeded to that location, and ended up taking over 500 shots of the Eagle on that tree and later another tree a few yards away.

The following are some shots on the first tree. The Eagle after about an hour departed this tree and captured a fish in the lake, then proceeded to another tree to consume his dinner. I will post some of those photos in a later post.

Hi Ira, I have to say #4 & 5 are my favorites. I have one question though.. HOW do you get an EAGLE to stay in a tree for OVER AN HOUR..:rofl :rofl Are you guys putting something in the water down there..:rofl You better be careful or they're going to stop calling the birds in Florida.. "Wildlife".
Way to go..:clap

2, 4 and 5 stand out. I'd love to go to Viera just for the eagle. Nice series.
