Well, I have been digging around for a thread on DGRIN which lets you take a category page and instead of thumbnails, it lists the TITLES in a horizontal list. I am still looking for this thread. help if u can.

With respect to that is it remotely possible for smugmug to incorporate a AJAX dropdown PW box?

Imagine you apply the hack to make a specific category not list thumbnails of the galleries, only titles, running horizontally on the page. Each title would have a little padlock to the right of it (indicating it is PW protected). When the end user clicks the link, a drop down box appears and the user inputs a password. It would be one "click" less to get to a gallery. :)

Would this not be a cool idea or am I just heavily medicated at 3:45am.

How is this one click less?

In the current scenario you:

Click on the gallery title or thumb
A password screen opens up and you enter the password
You confirm you are done with the password with either an Enter key press or a click
The gallery opensIn your scenario:

Click on the gallery title or thumb
A password screen drops down and you enter the password
You confirm you are done with the password with either an Enter key press or a click
The gallery opensIt looks like only a small difference in presentation to me. Same number of clicks.
