Ok, I know I seem to only be posting photos of my daughter in the portraits, but she is just too cute :) She had her play friend over and they wanted me to take pictures for them. How can I resist. Natural lighting, and not that great at that, but still the results were fun.

You can just keep posting because they are both adorable. I think this is a very nice portrait... some might argue against some of the facial shadow but I don't think it detracts at all. :thumb

That's a Kodak Picture of the Day if I ever saw one!!! :thumb
You should submit it to KODAK.

Great Shot!

I agree, a little heavy on the shadowing on Sarah (girl on the left), but because it was a "candid" portrait, so be it. Thanks for the kind words.

Thanks - at least it was my picture of the day. I love that my kids (especially my daughter) enjoy being photographed. Take advantage of it while they are still asking for it!

So how does Kodak view photos submitted taken by a Canon camera? :)

So how does Kodak view photos submitted taken by a Canon camera? :)I am sure that you do not have to give them that information. I had two KPOTD'S and they were shot with SONY's.

Go to Kodak.com and look on the bottom right corner.

Good luck!

They are both beautiful. Great capture. Natural smiles on young children are priceless.

I love the eyes. They both have a unique sparkle and I really like the lighting. Good job.

Just think how priceless this picture will be if they're still good friends in ten years. :D Nice shot, definitely a keeper.

I agree it's a very good shot.... I personally don't like that much shadowing on a young face. But those two are beautiful and I would have taken that shot too. :rofl http://www.dgrin.com/newreply.php?do=newreply&noquote=1&p=107505#

Its a wonderful photograph, Jeremy!
Sure, you must hide it ... to show them 5-10-20 years later as a present!
Unexpectedly advice?

Very funny! So true that it will be a fun "friends" photo down the road. I take so many photos, it is easy for it to be "hidden" all on its own. Just need to put it somewhere to actually find it down the road!
