Hi, had a few days away after Christmas and stayed with a friend on his farm in the Porongurups about 350km south of Perth. He has a area in one of his paddocks where once his old farm machinery reaches the end of its useful life, he just lets it 'Rust in Peace'..........

This is (was) a Massey Ferguson 585 Header, it was last in use about 5 years ago.

Looks like you found a 'goldmine' of rust! I like this series, as many here might guess!

Great photos. Such high definition. I wish mine were like that.

Nice series. Between the 'links and spokes' pictures, I like the first, #3, best. It has a sweeping away, work, feel to it.

Hi Leaforte, I like the depth of field on that one too. Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Cheers, Richard.

Very nice series--I like old stuff too, and you've done a great job of capturing some nice images. I like #2, with old and new together, and I like the DOF in #3.

Looks like it was target rich. I really like the second one and the spider webs in the 3rd and 4th. Great colors!
