Personally, and since yer asking :evil, I like the rock and the reflection, but the top half of the shot isn't very interesting. I remember Muench talking about every part of the frame needing to have something insteresting in it. Of course, the definition of "interesting" is highly subjective!

I tried cropping the top part of the shot but the picture seemed to lose something, maybe some of it's depth. I think this image looks better on a large print than it comes across here.

Ok, be honest who spotted the bird? I sure didn't notice him when I was taking the shot :D

What bird?

Ed, I loved the shot small, and I love it big. Huge, I am sure I would still love it.

Take away the top and you have a reflection of rocks..........cool, but cooler with a bit more sense of place. Kind of like a frame, but it is all on top.:rofl

(anyone want me to rant for them today, I am tired and on a roll. Might have something to do with the 10-22 lens that I didn't get, can't get even if the coupons went through, etc. And The World Is Definitely Flat.) So is dgrin, so there!:1drink

I really do like that shot, Ed. Can't say that I love it. You have so many good, to great, shots, that it would be difficult to outdo yourself.

It is a mighty fine photo, though.

ginger, a big fan of Ed's..........
