Super! I'm thinking you could probably use the dodge tool to even out the slightly harsh light on the bird and the cactus ... that could take this up a notch :)

It is a tad hot, but only on the background which causes
it to be distracting. Tone it down a smidge and your good
to go.

A simple house finch on an interesting perch. Other than the first posting being a tad hot, the second one looks nicer as the hot areas look toned down. As Harry said, if you have some space to the right, its composition may look better.

Nice shot of a House Finch on a cactus. If you had moved the cactus to the right a bit, the finch would have been perfectly posed. :dunno
