Just a few more pics from the latest Dgrin invasion of the St. Augustine rookery. I'm always amazed at the abuse the great egret parents take from their young at feeding time. Here's a few shots from a sequence I fired off.

that's just what I feel with my teenage son ,Hunter ---sometimes great pics Harry but those are things only a mom could love :thumb :clap

Thanks for stopping by. My son is fine. He has just arrived in Kuwait where he'll hang out for a couple of weeks. I'm getting more phone calls from him now that he's in Kuwait than I did when he was in Georgia. :D

Teenagers, I agree. Little goslings are much easier to care for than birds just about to leave the nest. Great series Harry.
Only a mom would stick here head down her child's throat.:thumb

Thanks PF but here we have the "little" ones sticking their heads down mom's throat (thats where are the fishy pieces are). :D

Those are great pictures, Harry, loved seeing the feeding going on. The "little" ones are growing up.
I thought it was the adult putting "her" head down a little one's throat. It gets bad when they are old enough that I can't tell the difference.
