I have have a very reliable cable (4 dropouts in 5 years for a total of a few hours ...seriously) but i am getting this error 1 out of 2 times now when i send to smugmug. I am just using Xp & the SM windows uploader. There were about 70 photos in this lot and all about 500-650 k so i dont think they are too big or too many. The loader told me the job would take about 40 mins once i started it.

I had no progs starting that could effect the upload (ie virus check etc)

So any ideas guys ?

Oooooo, I HATE that message....

Truth be told, the error correction and recovery is not so good for our built-in browser-based Windows uploader. We're working on that.

But you can use star*Explorer, which has much better error checking and recovery, or SendToSmugmug, which does as well.
