That would be a green heron. One of the harder herons to capture because they are very shy.

That would be a green heron. One of the harder herons to capture because they are very shy....about 15-17" tall...? I thought herons were generally larger. :dunno

Harry is right, we have those herons up north here too. They are much smaller than the great herons... Nice one Ric. :thumb

Don't laugh now...but...I have always had a sixth sense. The path I was walking down was coming to a slight clearing. I "felt" that there was something up and to the left, so, I was ready! Getting one like this made my day.
