when most people think of Alabama they don't think waterfalls..
I was limited on time :( but this waterfall has many many vantage points! the water goes underground after the falls so you can walk around a huge boulder bed with beautiful green covered rocks!

you should see the original file! everything is so crisp!:roflI think it's a little too warm though.. I wish I would have had more time there.. I found this place on my POI points of interest on my tomtom that I got for christmas.. I have dozens of others I have to seek out that I've never heard of!

Nice I like the color the only thing I would do would reprocess the raw file and keep the water from blowing out.
I've been in Alabama twice and both times I went up to DeSoto State park to shoot the many falls there. Where is this one.

My in-laws live in Cullman and Decatur. Next visit, I'll have to check out these falls. Great capture!

Never heard of these falls. Is it on public land? Nice shot!

well I didn't even know I was going there.. I followed my GPS to a POI points of interest. I heard later that day that it was closed to the public.. I noticed some new barbed wire fence when I was there.. but it disappeared and I kept walking along it until I made it to the falls. The best falls I've seen in Alabama so far! I haven't seen any photo's besides mine anywhere either.
