In just about 6 days I have the chance to shoot the AMA race @ PPIR (http://www.ppir.com/PPIRSite/schedule/schedule_ama.html), and I'll be shooting with this MF lens (http://www.photosapien.com/photo-819.html) mounted on a Manfrotto 676B monopod. I'll also be haulin' a MF135/2.8 and a 28-85/3.5-4.5. So, any tips for me? I've not really shot with a lens of this reach or weight. The other lenses are NO issue...

Also, any thought if I should also carry the SB800 in for fill flash in the garage area? I have limited carrying space track side. I plan to use a Lowepro fanny pack that will handle the lenses, be tight with the SB800 and the case for the "monster" over my shoulder. I'll have all my gear out in the vehicle, so trips to grab will be possible, but I don't want to weigh myself down.

Even though I don't have a photo press pass, I did notice, in past visits to the garage area and track side, that those with "the pass" have to wear an orange safety vest... which I already have. And they get into some limited areas for shooting. http://www.photosapien.com/images/smiles/icon_twisted.gif Anyone know how most tracks deal with this? Are the vests issued by the track, or "self supplied"?

Anything else you'd like to volunteer... that you think I should know?

TIA...
