UMass today ended Syracuse's 22 year NCAA final 4 apperance streak, syracuse was also the defending champs, and up until this year they were something crazy like 25-5 against us. 3 weeks ago we beat them in OT, this week during the first round of NCAA action, we only needed the last 63 seconds to put the game winner in. Final score 16-15. I couldnt get any shots of the bloodly lax player....all the damn docs surrounded him while the stitched him up....next time.

Great shots, composition exposure aperture etc. are all great. We don't have La Crosse here so I have no idea how the game works but these shots lead me to beleive its fast and full of action.:thumb

I'd like to see a tad more saturation. Also, what's with the player in shot
#5? Did he look in his equipment bag and realize he'd forgotten a sock :D ?

Also, be good to see a caption for each shot. That would really help with ID'ing
the player and situation. Especially for #3.

It was a really crappy day out, at times I had the ISO up to 1000 just to get enough light (for a game that started at 1)

These are the little ones for the umass's web site, may take me a while before i get them on smugmug full size.

nice shots, what else is new. your composition is spot on as usual, and it don't get much better for sports in terms of sharpness/colors/exposure. but one question, when's my rental/royalty check coming in?

(PS: I have a house for you to look at :D)
