My Slideshow seems to stop dead on the same photo each time it's refreshed
I have added a different folder and they play fine, seems to be a particular folder it doesn't like! any ideas?
update: only happens in Firefox (works fine in IE)
Also can you add more that 1 folder to play on the slideshow?
Thanks
Merry Christmas to all

Hi :wave
Since this is only an issued using Firefox, we'd suggest clearing FF's cache and trying the slideshow again. To clear your cache in Firefox on Windows, click on "Tools". Then select "Clear Private Data..." There will be a new window pop up. Make sure that the Cache check box is checked and click on the "Clear Private Data Now" button. http://www.smugmug.com/gallery/3232615
If this doesn't correct the problem, you can always try deleting that photo and re-uploading it. There may be some sort of problem with the file that is causing the display issue.

Thanks Steve, it's not the cache as I have it cleared when I close the browser, but I will give deleting the photo and re uploading it a go
am wondering though if there was a problem with the photo it would get stuck in both Firefox & IE, right?
thanks

I am having the exact same problem. And just to be sure, I wiped everything clean....example, cache-cookies-history.
My slideshow is getting stuck around the 3rd or 8th photo using Firefox and Safari. There's a total of 21 photos in the gallery. 3 of the 21 photos will not appear when I click on them. This problem just started today, and I've made NO changes to my website. It happens on my IMAC and Windows XP. Sounds like numerous of us are having this problem. I hope they "smugmug" looks into it, or at the least un-do whatever they did today.

I am having the same problem with more than one gallery and both IE and FF. I started on 12/23.

I'm seeing the same problem with your slideshow on Firefox. It shows the first two photos, then stops. So it's not you.

Your slideshow doesn't stop for me, but it is showing the same "photo not found" problem documented in this thread - http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=115066.

Things are starting to work again with the “photo not found”, but I’m still having the same problem with the slideshow getting stuck.
IMAC/Firefox
It gets stuck on the 7th photo. When I push the 8th photo it would not come up. There are a total of 25 photos in the gallery.

Worked fine for me when I went to your site. I'm using FireFox 3.0.5. Also worked fine with IE8 beta.
I'm having similar problems. Yesterday, my slideshow on my home page got stuck on the same photo. Now the slideshow isn't showing at all.

Your slideshow is working for me on both IE7 and Firefox.
Have you tried a different browser?
Might try clearing your browser cache.

Well today everything is working just fine. I didn't do anything, but when I checked it this morning, everything is working perfectly. Besides the slideshow not working, some pics weren't showing up in the galleries (there was just a blank square). So I left it alone and came back this morning to check and everything's fine. Strange.
Thanks for checking on this for me and I appreciate the recommendation. If it happens again, I'll be sure to try that.
