but tragically he died a year ago, aged 38 of a massive heart attack. He was the nicest man, always gave me a wave and a smile. He was a street performer (or busker as they are known here). I took this shot with my then D60 and my Canon 300 f/4L IS. Its not posed - he just looked up and I got the shot.

The image was a representative image last year in the brochure sent to US and UK clients of my stock library.

:clapWhat a beautiful shot! You can tell by his eyes he was a lovely man. IMO thats what true portraits should do.

I like the shot. Perhaps a tighter crop but the paint, eyes and expression
all work for me.
