So i customized my page so that I would have some categorisation on my galleries but I just created a couple new galleries and bam the link

now is not showing the galleries the way I want all my travel Galleries are on their own instead of being under the category Travel.
Can anyone please help?

ok So I appear to have fixed it but I am not sure why this went wrong in the first place
The bit that says "display: categories • galleries "
was set to Galleries despite me overiding it in the URL. once I clicked on categories it works fine.
Can someone explain why this seems to ignore the url and how I can make sure the user never sees this option.

The user never sees this option - that is only available when you are logged in. What you type in the URL and what you click on that option have nothing to do with one another. Putting galleries in the URL says that you want to go to your galleries page which will show either galleries or categories depending upon how you have the display: categories • galleries option set.
