Replacing with smaller print

My customer ordered a landscape 16x24. I have went in and have tried to replace it with a portrait 16x20. But it is not working. Is SmugMug not letting me change it because of the 'lesser' price? After reviewing order I convinced customer that the 16x20 would be a much better choice. What do I do?
