Anhingas can eat surprisingly large fish, but this one apparently bit off more than he could handle. He caught the fish and dragged it to the shore to eat it. I watched him for about one hour trying to eat this fish, but he was not having any luck. He never quit trying, but I finely gave up and moved on.

Smart idea, as it looks like it would have burst it's stomach if it actually swallowed a fish that big.
