To start I'm:

http://pics.boinkphoto.com (http://pics.boinkphoto.com/)
(aka http://boinkphoto.smugmug.com (http://boinkphoto.smugmug.com/))

I've gotten most of what I want figured out thanks to the great docs and posts here, however what I'd like to do is add some more links on my "navbar".

Now, I don't want to replace the default "smugmug" theme navbar, I like it, I just want to add more links to it (in particular, one going to my "/galleries").

Is there a simple way to inject an additional link into the current template?

Related questions:
Can I do the same in the mini-footer?
Can I make it so the cart doesn't show in the navbar on the homepage?
Can I make my footer be after the mini-footer (no problem with the full footer but...).Thanks muchly in advance!

That's really not a navbar, and I could argue that it is not appropriate on a customized site. Why? Because when I click Your Photos in your navbar, I am taken to my galleries, not yours. Why do you want to make it easier for people to leave your site? The logout link is also in the footer.

If you don't want the cart to show in the header, remove what you are referring to as a navbar.

Have you seen Andy's demo site? http://andydemo.smugmug.com.
Or the navbar tutorial? http://dgrin.smugmug.com/gallery/1932803.

Thanks Denise. The reason I called it Navbar is because that's what the CSS underneath seems to refer to it and it's actually, as far as I can tell, the default "navbar" for SmugMug using the default "smugmug" theme (I guess technically it's the "toolbar"). I assume when you looked at it you were logged in and the theme presented the "Your photos" to you with the, yes, broken link back to your gallery (in fact I think I saw this when I followed a link to your gallery once too!). My assumption is even in an unmodified front page that would probably be true (that "Your photos" would be essentially pointing into the logged in viewer's page(s)). A logged out user, wouldn't see it at all.

Anyway, that notwithstanding I guess the point is I actually like the the default "toolbar" for the theme and I actually don't want to remove it or replace it. I could easily replace it with an all new "navbar/toolbar" per the links (which yes I had seen), but I really wanted to just augment the their toolbar. However again, per another thread, I'd like it to be potentially not shown on the front page. To note the toolbar/navbar you see is mostly unmodified other than a tweak to "Home" based on the FAQ pages.

As far as the "Logout" goes, that too is because you're logged in and seems to be the default behavior when you use the default themes. I want "Login" there in case I want to log in (or I suppose, another user does). Again, this is just the default "smugmug" theme's doing.

Thanks again.
