Can anyone from Orlando give me some locations to shoot birds or other interesting subject's in the area?
I'm going to be there the 9th thru the 17th working and If I can get out and barrow a ride from some co-workers I would like to put my new 200-400 VR to some good use.
Should have afternoon's off, maybe day's and mornings if I move my schedule around.
Soooo, can anyone give me some idea's?
Thanks!

I don't get over to Orlando much, but I noticed these two locations in another forum. Not sure how good they are, but they might be worth a try.
Have fun,

I was going to say that you might want to drive east to Kennedy Center area as there is cool stuff out there to shoot.

GATORLAND is a cool place to photograph wildlife (gators, birds, etc). You get close to the action and a super telephoto lens is not required. Unfortunately it cost to get into the place . There is also a special photographers pass thingy. I think it's $90 and you get to enter the park early (before it opens) and I think stay late. Harry...how does this work? :scratch
Anyway...here is a link to check out the Gatorland website.

Thanks, I will check into that.
May be my best option short of a airboat charter. :D
