I ran into a group of people dancing on the day I first had my 180mm 2.8. It was dark, I didn't have my monopod and I wasn't used to the focussing speed on that beautiful beast yet. That said, I think the pictures express the joy and emotion of the dancers. Enjoy.

They all look happy :D
Some of the shots are not in focus thats probably due to your lack of light.

I spent a few hours with April's parents in LA recently,
they are Chinese and soooooooo funny, April's dad is a scream.
Very happy people.

Thanks for sharing michswiss :thumb .... Skippy :D

Thanks Azzaro and Skippy,

Some of the shots are definitely out of focus. I'd be trying to take a stable stance in shaded early dusk tracking dancers with a 180 prime. Continuous focus on the 180mm f2.8 isn't fast :huh

But I liked the sense of motion the blurriness imparted. I think it works as a series, but not for individual shots.
