Bird fight, close up provided

:uhoh Ok, so it is an egret fight, in 3 parts............it is action, shows how they live.
It was 1/4 of the way across the lake, so a close up is provided of an eye, since that has been mentioned as interesting to some.

Egret infringes on other bird's territory. Or maybe the story is even more dramatic, involving premarital sex, child support and other issues that might be of importance right now. Anyway, I see an altercation about to happen and put my camera on burst, push the trigger and close my eyes.

Yup, on the LCD screen, I see that said altercation did take place with smart bird turning tail............:lol4 .

Finally the deed is done. The current residence of said space drives off intruder. See "tail"..........

That is a tale of a tail, with an extra feature: the eye "blown up".

Is this the format wanted, or would another format be more acceptable to those of us who follow the egret?

As an aside, this "set" is the sole result of trip to Magnolia on Sundy, nothing else is involved. No petty jealousy nor rancor (bitter deep seated ill will). That would be rediculous to have one's "ill will" deep seated.
Just sharing my mom's day excursion.

Thanks Harry, I really appreciate your stopping by. We barely made the gate closing at 5:30 on Sunday, so our light was probably very interesting. In fact, there was a measly uninspiring sunset before we left, I would have been terrifiec to walk out of that place by myself. It is so surprising to walk out under the trees and realize that you suddenly can't see anything.

I was very glad for Bill's presence.

With the light low, I am kind of surprised that I was still stopping action.

You are probably out right now getting great shots. I fell asleep at the computer last night, so am up kind of early. Need to check the osprey nest this weekend.
