Hi

I'm not a photographer, hobby or otherwise, but as I like...pretty pictures (:D), I have a question about some photos.

I wonder if this style of photography is called anything?

My other question is if there is some sort of gallery online of pictures like these, where I don't have to look through hundreds of pages to find them?

I also want to say, that I'm amazed at the photographs on this site, and my jaw has dropped on more than one occasion while surfing about these pages. :D

Any help is appreciated.

Curious.

Hi Curious! :wave

I would classify those as landscapes. Don't know any other term for them.
Did you take these pictures?

Also, I'm moving this thread to The Big Picture forum, as it better fits there.

I'm curious too - who do these pictures actually belong too ?
If you are not a photographer then presumably these are not yours?

They look like they might be HDR photos ( That is a post-processing technique)
You can do a search on Flickr for "HDR" and get galleries of this type of photo- you can try to search HDR on smugmug too
Good luck

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks very much! :nod
