I had very little time in San Fran as my initial flight was several hours delayed on the runway in Newark and I was meeting an old friend for dinner. I paid a cabbie to take me to the bridge and wait. The sun was shining right on me but it peaked behind teh clouds long enough for me to take a couple of pics that weren't horrible.

of coure these two young lovers had to take a seat right in my view but it worked out well.

Both are great shots but I actually like the shot with the couple better than the one without.

Hey Eric
Like the 1st one best, the color seems vibrant and perspective on the bridge spot on IMHO :thumb

Here is one of my pics of the Golden Gate Bridge at night. 5 seconds after I shot this picture the fog rolled in and you couldn't see the city or the bridge.

Eric,
I like the first one the best. If it were my image I would probally clone out the bird though. But I like the composition and colors.
Good work!:thumb

I flew in over it last week, and all I could think was that I didn't have time to get out of the airport before my next flight. Good shots, be glad you got them. Only latly have I started to realize the number of things that I Havn't shot and wish I had.
James.

Dunno how I missed this, Eric. I like your shot with the couple. It's wee bit tight, but having the people in the shot makes all the difference in the world. Good idea! Wish I'd thought of it!

I think this shot has a much more interesting foreground and better balance, compositionally. This one gets my vote, though both are good shots.
