It's an architectural illusion. Because of the building's sharp angles, the view from the Riverwalk presents an optical illusion that the facing wall is one-dimensional. Pretty cool.

Nice one, Jeff! I have several of the Nix also but I really like the colors in yours. Nice job!

Thanks. I really would have loved to ground it, but I was shooting from down in the well of the Riverwalk. I wouldn't have had a wide enough lens to get the whole thing in at ground level.

This is a bizzare photo...(in a good way) and i am glad someone else asked what i was thinking!!! This building would be interesting to see from all angles. Good job capturing it.

That's quite the illusion, makes you look twice... well it made me look twice :rofl

Very cool shot. Great visual effect and, as already mentioned, the color is striking.
