Is there no such thing as a Nikon 18-200mm 2.8 lens? I've google searched and tried ebay but there are only results for the 18-200 3.5

Am I looking in the wrong places?

at least not from Nikon. There are the lovely 80-200 and 70-200s. You can find a full Nikon listing on their website too. http://nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Nikon/Camera-Lenses/Autofocus/Standard-Zoom.page and

Yeah I saw that but I was hoping to condense my need for a 17-55 2.8 and a 70-200 2.8 into one lens. I guess it is not meant to be.

Yea the only 18-200 Nikon makes is the 18-200 f/3.5-5.6

I really doubt you will ever see a Nikon 18-200 f/2.8, if they did make such a beast it would be huge and cost a ton. The other reason they probably will not make such a beast is that it would kill the sales of their other lenses if they did make an 18-200 f/2.8.
