Hi all. I am fairly new to the Dgrin forum, and excited to be here. So here goes my second picture post: This is a favorite picture I took of my daughter. She was fussing over something while I was shooting in the park (which she was later comforted by M&M's). I just had to catch a photo of that tear. Hope you enjoy :D

hi and welcome to dgrin.
That's a great expression on your daughter's face, but b/c of the selective coloring, I was drawn to the eyes and missed the tear until you pointed it out. How does a straight b/w conversion look? (or, if you must keep those great blue eyes, and I can see why you'd want them, how does the color look?)
cheers,
C.

Thank you for the constructive crit. :D Here is the photo in color. I agree with your statement now that I examine. I love this site. I was a little nervous at first because there are so many gifted photographers here and although I have played with a camera for years, I have never applied serious focus on it until lately. I am still pretty wet behind the ears, but people are so helpful here. Thanks again Colleen.http://artisticdesign.smugmug.com/photos/420117477_vHTqB-M.jpg
