A UWA lens never struck me as the sort of lens you might want to take a sunset photo with. But, it was the lens that happened to be on the front of my camera at the time so here are a couple;

I'm still getting used to understanding what works and what does not work with very wide angle photography so these should perhaps be taken as test shots.

I'm trying to decide between the Nikon 12-24 and the 17-35 so I'd be interested in knowing what camera/lens you were using and what focal length these were shot at.
Very nice images by the way. The only nit I might have is to suggest that #1 might have been better if you were on the other side of the ladder as it is not very attractive and it dominates the scene.

Hi,

The camera is an Olympus E-510 and the lens used is the consumer grade 9-18 F4-5.6 lens (that would be 18-36 in 35mm FF terms).
