View Full Version : raw icons show as wav icons

This may be sound an odd problem and doesnt actually affect anything..

But when I put my SD card into my card reader and the folder opens on the desktop automatically for the SD card.. All the jpgs show with the normal CS2 jpg icon yet all the raw files show with a Adobe Audio RAW PCM file Icon..is that normal.. Of course the RAW opens fine in CS2 when I double click on it but I just wondered why it wants to do this..

What OS are you using, I am guessing Mac OS?

If you select one of the raw files and "get info" you can select the application that will open the file and force all such files to this application. I understand that the files are correctly opening in Ps/ACR - I am simply hoping/guessing that manually "re-associating" the file with Photoshop will show the correct icon.
