While up in Lynchburg to visit my sister and her family this past weekend, we drove to the Peaks of Otter Lodge on the Blue Ridge Parkway for Breakfast on Sunday. I missed the fall color by a couple of weeks but saw it for an interesting transition landscape from fall to winter. Oh and... it was cold! I'm not ready for winter yet! :cry C&C welcomed.

Nice one Travis. I like that one tree on the right. It seems to really add some character to the image.

Thank you Lauren. That means a lot, especially seeing how great the work is in your gallery. :thumb

Travis,
Thanks for your compliment! It's always nice to be surprised by someone looking at my gallery and appreciating my work--when it's not someone in my family! :D
I looked at your site and left you some comments. I absolutely LOVE your Williamsburg gallery--you could do a very nice photo book with those shots.
Cheers,
Lauren

Nice shot. Wish it would stay October forever. My goal is to have the entire
month off just to shoot.. Im a couple hours north of there. Great location
for fall beauties. Get there earlier next year.

Thanks Pillman. I planned to get there a couple of weekes earlier; however, I ended up scheduling 3 family portrait sessions which took the priority over the "play" stuff. Hoepfully next year I will leave a couple of available during the peak season. Although I'm a coastal person at heart, you defintiely live in some beautiful country!
