Once a year the National Park Service allows legal base jumps from the New River Bridge in WV.
The 3rd Saturday in October, the colors are usually very nice.

I do like your shots. Were you perched on a strut of the bridge or what? it looks like you're right with them.

I was in a basket on the end of a boom crane over the side of the bridge for a while. Makes for a better perspective angle of the whole event.
