We had a great shoot today in my studio...she is NOT a model but is the assistant to one of my clients and wanted some "naughty but nice" lingerie/boudoir shots done and of course I was happy to oblige. These are SOOC....The red backdrop is new and at first I was unhappy with it but after seeing the results...I am a happy photographer.

I like the close crop and lighting on the 3rd one best. The first one is lovely of her face but I find the background distracting a bit. If the whole background was the animal print blanket she'd really pop out of it. (Beautiful woman by the way)

One and three are my favories...four appears to be under exposed...a little Photoshop or other and it will be fine.
Thanks for sharing.

Ed, Yes, - agreed - these are straight out of the camera. I haven't done anything to these.
Snowgirl - yes, you are right. The one you like is with a beauty dish and grid - a harder light. First are with softboxes and snoot. The background is a bed and headboard. I did get some with all the animal print. I will have to upload some of those.

Nice series Kathy! It would be nice if they were a tad larger for viewing. Straight out of the camera eh? Nice lighting......I like #2 & 3 quite a bit. I think running these in PS with a few refinements will make them really stand out. The first possibly a tighter crop will provide an advantage for the angle/look of the shot (an opinion of course) as her partial hands and arms aren't adding to the overall look. The last one with a bit of edge burning will make her stand out. Quite a beautiful young lady and would love to see more. Nice job all around....hmmm..out of camera...I take it these were shot Jpeg?

I always shoot RAW and JPG - I pulled a few out to put up to show her and uploaded to my gallery. I will probably make a sample album with these to show for Valentine's Day since this was my first boudoir shoot. Might use a vignette on that one. Good suggestions. It's always good to have more eyes look at your work...

I really like your studio lighting on these. I like how she has her mouth in the first one, that plus the way she's looking at you make you wonder what she's thinking. Looking forward to seeing 4 after you get a chance to brighten it up a bit. Pretty neat for straight out of the camera though!
