You did very well :thumb the tripod helped :D for a back lit shot on a rainy day very nice .call me when you get back and I will try and take you again on sunday eagle count is now 2 :huh

An imature eagle showed up in SO.CAL

Very nice. Where in L.A. are you? I live in Long Beach and a couple weeks ago I was on a motorcycle trip up near Silverado Canyon. I pulled into Irvine Lake (private, stocked lake) and there was a pair of Bald Eagles circling above. I shot them with the little point-and-shoot I wear around my neck. I saw flocks of them in Alaska, but never before in SoCal.

I think it's great they're venturing back into areas they haven't been to in a long time!
