View Full Version : Firefox 3 forgetting Smugmug login?

Since moving up to Firefox 3 (several months ago), I've noticed that it does a very poor job of remembering passwords and automatically logging me into sites. This is especially true on smugmug. For some reason, I get logged out by Firefox on a daily basis and have to log back in. It is able to remember my username and password but does not keep me in for some reason. I was wondering if anyone has noticed the same behavior.
Specs:
Firefox 3.0.3 on a Macbook
This was never a problem on Firefox 2 and I haven't changed any of the security settings to limit use of cookies, etc.
Thanks,
E

ps - Wasn't sure if this thread belonged in SmugMug Support or Big Picture. Please move it to the correct forum if needed.

I don't have this problem, actually, but the problem originates most likely from your custom domain (http://www.smugmug.com/help/acctlogin); Make sure you always use [nickname].smugmug.com to log in, and use logged in :thumb

Funny - it has never dumped me out of Smugmug, but I have noticed it seems to dump my cookies for a lot of other sites with disturbing regularity. I thought it was just me.

Yah - it's definitely not just a smugmug thing but it seems most repeatable with smugmug.
