Jeff, that is one good peacock, with reflection shot!
Everything must have been better in Yosemite, even the photographers....in some cases at least equal. But I have shot those peacocks, so I know how good yours is. (next I am going to have to make a reflection puddle, too cool)

Love that first one Baldy. I wanted a shot of one of these, but chased him around for a few minutes and he was always one step ahead.

Sorry we didnt really get to meet in yosemite, I kept telling myself I should go introduce myself, but then I would get distracted, and we were never in the same place shooting.
Maybe on the next one.
Now, is this peacock just alongside the road somewhere?
I have never heard of such a thing and will be amazed, but thats what I am getting from your post.

Truth be told, I got a bigger kick out of shooting people trying to look at/photograph Bridal Veil falls.

those are great I did not get many peolpe shots being with Ed you chase bear :D and if I have a regret it was not talking to everyone ,I am mostly a shy person and there was no time we all were on the go .But that is it you know you are in a good group when the first thing they say to you is [you need a key board ] it was a great trip fantastic time . I think it was Steve who said even with out one keeper I will never forget this trip .I am blessed the raven was more than a keeper and what I learned was priceless :thumb
