The light was just nice enough and the sun was low enough to excite me into a quick trip over to the Morton Arboretum shortly after work today. I have been trying out a friend's 70-200 2.8 L IS lens and this jaunt would give it a real life field test. (Thanks fellow dgrinner kb9bsi!). Not every shot was a keeper in such low light (more like 1 in 12), but most would not have been possible at these focal lengths without the IS feature. I was about a week late for the full color display, but having seen the Aspens a few weeks ago in Colorado, I didn't miss autumn (gee, I still need to get to those shots too :rolleyes ) Anyway, here are some keepers from todays batch.

A small branch gets in the way of my camera.

These are great man! That first one is the best IMO. I'm a sucker for saturation! :rofl

Thanks for sharing these.

Saturation? :dunno When the sun is low, those leaves will glow. :deal
