this was taken with a nikon d70 and this person claims to have shot on auto with no photoshop tricks, is it possible to accidently get double exposure with nikon d70?

By the blurriness of the background, it looks like the shutter was pretty slow and the flash also fired freezing the singer and then she moved out of frame.

Hi, new here. I agree with you on the very slow shutter speed. I've created several images like this intentionally for that "ghost" illusion.

I've also done this intentionally using either slow shutter speeds or just leaving the shutter open and covering with cardboard and calculating the appropriate exposure times...Cool technique.
