We had a storm move through around 1 am one night last October, they said we had over 4,000 lightening strikes. I stayed up till around 2.30am and took over 200 photos, which only 6 had lightening on them, this was the best.

Hi Susan,
The lightening struck about 2 kms from my place, it was very loud.

That is a great photo. And with all the people trying to get lightening photos, I have to say that in a storm that has not occurred to me.
I am so scared, but my dogs are more scared. Then we lose our electricity, I might as well be taking photos. Did you go outside and risk a lightening strike, or what?

Hi Ginger,
I took this from under my front porch and I took some from under our back patio. My wife would not let me go to far LOL.
