Hi - took these shots whilst visiting the Kruger National Park in South Africa recently. Conditions were incredibly dry with soaring temperature above 35 deg.C.

One thing I particularly learnt whilst in such an environment is that "focal-length" is extremely important. The more range, the better!

Equipment: Nikon D300 + Sigma 50-500 lens with Kenko 1.4x TC Pro300DG.

Nice Pics!
Buffalo were not as easy to find as most of the other animals - except the Wild Dogs - never did see any of them.
I wonder if I ran into you there? I was there Sept 23 - 27.
