Went to the local pond to practice and get some more egret shots. No egrets.

Cool shots Dan. Unfortunately not egrets. I think that black one is a coot.

Really like the 1st DIF (Duck in Flight) shot.

Thanks Cato. I went back today, and they are not there. They must have left for parts unknown.

I'm going up to a a riparian refuge tomorrow and maybe I'll get lucky. Remember when getting lucky meant something else? :rofl :rofl :rofl

Well, then, I just learned me a new word: riparian. Sounds like a library worker who repairs torn books. :huh

I remember when "getting lucky" meant ripping open a new pack of Topps baseball cards and getting the Reggie Jackson and not the Fred Stanley! :wink
