View Full Version : My favorite Snowy Egret shot on a sad day

I have a distinct memory of this shot........ on that day on the shot just AFTER this shot, I fell on those rocks and broke my F707. I was being SOOO careful walking across those rocks with my eye through the viewfinder, trying to get closer to that beautiful snowy egret at the time. I fell with camera strap around my neck but, the camera still hit the rocks, albeit slightly cushioned fall by my hands trying to cradle it.
I was SOOO upset after that, when I realized my camera was not functioning, it was a sad day.
Enjoy the shot....

Better your camera getting broke, than you.... :scratch
Seriously you can always replace a camera, phone ect. Skulls and vertebrae are a little harder to get serviced, and hell of alot more expensive. Although the nurses... anyway I hope you understand. :wink I'm glad your ok! :thumb
And that is a superb shot, I love the composition and colors! :clap

......Lucky to have gotten this beautiful shot BEFORE I fell :-)
And yes, you are right... my health is more important than my camera.
However, you might not have been able to convince me on that day!
Thanks for the comments,
Markjay

Great Shot!
Kind of an expensive get, but a very good one.
I wish I had insurance, I don't know what my life would be like without my camera, and I take risks, also. Who of us who shoot nature do not?
I think it is inherent in the "craft".
