Different cardinal, about 40 seconds after I shot the top one. Sometimes you get nothing, sometimes it's handed to you.:dunno

I'd say about 50 feet. ISO at 400. exposure +.33

They are super-shy, aren't they? Thats why I can really appreciate good shots, like these. Thanks for sharing.

ive been using more of ISO 800 with that lens and Exposure -2/3
my shots have been more "detailed" than previous

That is funny!
Cardinals have been handed to me, but only when I have been there.
There is a small bird, tee, tiny, with a yellow head, fast little B, but gorgeous, I can't even get my lens up.

I think it's a yellow finch. I almost got one yesterday, but he was still too fast.

I normaly do use -.67 exposure, especially with ducks, but they where in an area of dense trees and I had to bump the exposure up.
