Thanks. This is one of those shots that even though the finished product will only be displayed on the www at about half this size, something it sort of bugs me. I'm not sure if it's motion blur (hand held), oof, oversharpening/processing, or even the glow of the sun.

I like the processing better on the second one. Actually somewhere between both tints might about right.
I think this is one of those shots where you have to appreciate it for what it is -- a fantastic capture of a wolf in gorgeous natural setting -- and not get too hung up on the technical details.

I like the 1st shot better, with more of the background exposed than the edited shot. Maybe the coloration closer to the edit, just a tad warmer.
It's a wonderful photo that tells a story. :thumb

Thank you Joel. I'm sure the sun felt as good on his face as it did on mine after I shot the photo.
